It made me smile to think how excited you were to get your lathe! Now I understand why.
I have made jointed clothespin dolls using 5 of the dolly pins. They were so sweet but a whole lot of work cutting and sawing and all that..but that's as close as I ever got to working with the wood. Yours look so much more fun. I remember once I bought a jig saw, but when I got the thing I was too scared to use it! so much for that idea so I sold it to someone that had the know-how!! VBG
I must thank you for visiting my blog. Yes the Russian doll class was so much fun and learning the history was so interesting, Made me want to explore the subject more.
ta ta for now
((((hugs))))
MaggieMaggie Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15132408292961027118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5406794026928076131.post-18969680478495318572007-11-05T11:20:00.000-08:002007-11-05T11:20:00.000-08:00I'm so glad I wandered by!! Oh, the lucky little ones who will find one of these treasures tucked in a Christmas stocking! Makes me wish I knew whether someday I might have a granddaughter or two--I'd start stocking up now : )

Just wonderful, Angie! I love the fact that you have used the wood as it is, you are keeping to the organic nature and that adds another dimension to them. I love the natural tones of the wood and I am glad that you are leaving them just as they are. I cannot wait to see them completed.Anahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03260236552647823112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5406794026928076131.post-468073476071178542007-10-29T09:36:00.000-07:002007-10-29T09:36:00.000-07:00Wonderful, Nice to see a new post!, I think I pref...Wonderful, Nice to see a new post!, I think I prefer the standing one but i like the one with the Dress!Ben Stableshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084236972896434627noreply@blogger.com
